FEDERAL CELEBRATION & NATIONAL HOLIDAY

Join us as we celebrate the spectacular FUNKY FIREWORK DANCE CRUISE during the Federal Celebration on Thursday, July 31st, right in the middle of on the Rhine! At 7:30 PM we set off cruising and enjoy the Basel fireworks right on the Rhine, while you dance exclusively to funky House Beats by DJ Oliver&Oliver in the heart of Basel. Good vibes, cold drinks, small snacks, and unique experiences are guaranteed!

UPDATE 30.7: Unfortunately, the city fireworks have been canceled. The party will still take place as planned.

On Friday, July 31, 2026, Basel will celebrate as every year with a large fireworks display on the Rhine into the Swiss National Day.

Hop on board the Rhystärn and enjoy an atmospheric evening with glow sticks for everyone, music to dance to, culinary delights, and of course the exclusive view of the old town, the fireworks, and the entire spectacle right in the middle of on the Rhine.
