The core team of Förster Films Studios invites its best employees and the patronage association to the restaurant to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the premiere of the most successful film “Blood Ties” and to plan future projects. Joining them are founder and director Robert Förster, cameraman Benny Caduff, assistant director Julia Stähler, and star actress Mireille Felix. The quartet has been working together for several years and is as sociable as it is efficient. However, the harmony is abruptly disrupted when Mireille suffocates and collapses dead in front of everyone. Apparently, her cocktail was poisoned. The criminal police send Commissioner Nora Leonhard to investigate this murder case. With a trained eye and the help of the guests, she uncovers the secrets of the three suspects and the dark past of the film studio.
